NOTICE IS BEING GIVEN THAT THE TOWN OF CLYMAN WILL BE HAVING THE BOARD OF CANVASS MEETING AT THE CLYMAN TOWN HALL, 735 MAIN STREET ON APRIL 5, 2014 AT 4:00 PM.

AT THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS OF THE APRIL 1, 2014 SPRING ELECTION OR 8:00 PM IT WAS NOTED THAT THE TOWN OF CLYMAN HAD 1 OUTSTANDING ABSENTEE BALLOT.

7.515 History.

7.515(6)(a)(a) Whenever the municipal clerk of any municipality receives an absentee ballot cast by an absentee elector under this section and the ballot is not received in sufficient time for delivery to the polling place serving the residence of the elector on election day but is received within the time specified in sub. (3), the clerk shall promptly provide written notice to the board of canvassers of each municipality, special purpose district, and county that is responsible for canvassing the election of the number of such ballots that have been received by the clerk in each ward or election district.

7.515(6)(b) (b) Whenever a board of canvassers receives notification from a municipal clerk under par. (a), the board of canvassers shall meet no later than 9 a.m. on the Monday after the election. The board of canvassers shall proceed to open and record the names of the absentee electors whose ballots have been received. If the ballot cast by an absentee elector is otherwise valid, the board of canvassers shall count the ballot and adjust the statements, certifications, and determinations accordingly. If the municipal clerk transmits returns of the election to the county clerk, the municipal clerk shall transmit to the county clerk a copy of the amended returns together with all additional ballots and envelopes reviewed by the board of canvassers and with amended tally sheets.

BUDGET RESOLUTION NO. 2014-4
TOWN OF CLYMAN, WISCONSIN
2014 Local Tax Levy

BE IT RESOLVED by the Clyman Town Board that the tax levy for local purposes for 2014 be set at $179,693.00 or a tax rate of .002503948 per one thousand dollars of assessed valuation on all taxable property in the town.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Treasurer figures the taxes with one combined rate for all state, county, school, and local levies and that combined rate are affixed on each page of the tax roll as well as on each individual tax bill and receipt issued by the Treasurer.

BE IT ALSO FURTHER RESOLVED that the date for the first payment of 2014 taxes that are paid on a semi-annual basis by January 31, 2015.
